Standard Home Care Services

To obtain the lowest rate of $27/hour, this program has a minimum requirement of 4 hours per visit. If you want home care service that is less than 4 hours per visit, your hourly rate will increase to $30/hour to help compensate our caregivers for their traveling time. Note that we follow industry standards when it comes to overtime and double overtime. You may be charged 1.5x the current rate for overtime and 2x for double overtime. We will try our best to prevent overtime charges by scheduling multiple shifts to meet your needs while minimizing your total home care cost. This means that you may receive a flat rate of $27/hour for requests of greater than 8 hours per day. Hourly rates on holidays are 1.5x to compensate caregivers for the valuable time they could spend with their families.

For adults who need more intensive care and cannot live independently, we need to ensure that a caregiver, either family or friend, must be present at the end our shifts.

Flexible Home Care

This program reduces an individual's annual home care cost through a timeshare system while maintaining the hourly rate of $27/hour. However, there are minimum requirements that must be met. Overtime, double time, and holiday rates are the same as our standard home care service plan.

  • Members within a timeshare group must live within 10 min of driving from each other. Driving time will be included in the service hour.

  • The 4 hour minimum still applies but may be split among individuals in the group. We recommend at least 2 hours per home visit to give our caregivers enough time to complete their tasks. Changes to time allocation must be notified at least 3 days before.

  • If you ask us to carry out a task that cannot be done within the home care time requested, we may refuse or someone must be willing to take over the task when our caregivers leave.

Subsidized Home Care Program

This program's availability depends on the yearly budget from revenue, grants, and charity. The goal of this program is to help families in the low to moderate income range, who otherwise would not be able to afford continuous home care services, in caring for loved ones suffering from illnesses such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and other diseases affecting an individual's ability to carry out activities of daily living (ADL).

With this program, we hope to help family caregivers find time to care for themselves so that they can continue to care for their loved ones. Unlike the Standard Home Care Service Plan where the cost of home care that you pay keeps our operations afloat, the home care cost here is subsidized to make it even more affordable. The hourly rate in this program is determined by the number of families who need help and the discounts allowed below our current rate due to donations and grants.
